Walk for Wards

Date: 9 July 2017

About the Event

Join us for Walk for Wards, a sponsored walk along the waterways of Paddington and the leafy greens of Regent's Park to raise money for your favourite ward or hospital within Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.  You can choose to take part in either a 2 mile or 5 mile circular route starting and finishing in Merchant Square, next to St Mary’s Hospital.

Why take part?

Not only is Walk for Wards a fantastic opportunity to walk through some of London’s most beautiful parks and waterways but it’s also a chance to support your local hospital. You can choose to support a ward within any of the five hospitals of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust or simply choose the hospital you’d like to support. Your registration fee and any money you raise will go towards the ward or hospital you choose.

If you’re unsure as to what you’d like your fundraising money to go towards, you could support our More Smiles Appeal for the expansion and much-needed redevelopment of the paediatric intensive care unit at St Mary’s Hospital. Click here to find out more about the appeal.

The entry fee is just £10 for adults and £5 for children (5-17 years), NHS staff and concessions. Under 5s are free to take part.

Supporting your department

There is no minimum sponsorship, we merely ask you to raise as much as you can.

We will once again be match funding the first 100 people that sign up to take part in the walk, up to the value of £100.
