Arts Officer

Hours: 36 hours pw

Reporting to: Head of Arts

Salary: £24,000 - £25,000 pa

Imperial College Healthcare Charity is seeking a highly organised, creative and motivated individual to join the team as our arts officer. This role sits within the arts team, managed by the Head of Arts and supports the arts programme committed to engaging patients, staff and visitors with both visual art and the wider arts.

Imperial College Healthcare Charity is an independent charity raising funds for research and projects that help improve patient healthcare at the five London hospitals of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust: Charing Cross, Hammersmith, Queen Charlotte's & Chelsea, St Mary and Western Eye hospitals. The Charity’s Art Collection has established a reputation as one of London’s leading hospital art collections.

The key responsibilities for the arts officer include:

• Co-ordination of the audience engagement programme
• Administration of the museum accreditation scheme
• Support the curatorial team

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small but ambitious charity and would be an ideal job for someone with one to two years office experience looking to build a successful career in the arts.

This position is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check and two references.
