Why volunteer at our events:
Our Events Volunteer scheme is a new way to volunteer with Imperial College Healthcare Charity supporting our efforts to raise funds to improve patient care and support staff development at the five hospitals within the NHS Trust.
Join us for our upcoming Walk for Wards event on Sunday 17 July - a sponsored walk (2 and 5 mile circular route options) along the waterways of Paddington and the leafy greens of Regents Park to raise money for our hospitals within the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. We are looking for Events Volunteers who can help us with our registration desk, give out water and snacks, sign people up and marshal people along the route.
Don’t worry you won’t have to do the whole walk (unless you want to) or get sponsored, we need our Events Volunteers to help us make sure the event runs smoothly for people who are taking part to raise money for us.

How to sign-up to volunteer
Once we’ve received your application form we will send you an Events Volunteer briefing pack with all of the information about us and our events to get you started. Just read through, complete the briefing questionnaire and send it back us. In the week leading up to the event we will email you with all the final joining instructions so you know where to go, what to wear and what time to arrive – so be sure to check your emails in the lead up.
We don’t currently have any other vacancies at the charity.
However, we are always looking for passionate individuals who share our values and want to make a difference to patients. Volunteering with us is a fantastic opportunity for anyone wishing to gain a broad range of experience of what it is like to work in a healthcare charity. Volunteers are integral to the smooth running of the charity, and help support all our departments, from fundraising and arts, to grants and communications.
If you think you would be a good fit here and share our passion for improving patient care then email firstname.lastname@example.org with your CV and a personal statement about why you would like to be part of our team.
