Creative Walking Group
The Creative Walking group is a project for people receiving cardiac and respiratory rehabilitation across our hospitals and the wider North West London community.
Each month, artist Eva Jonas leads an accessible walk near our hospital sites with creative activities inspired by the green spaces, canals, and architecture along the route.
The group is currently in the process of building a resource of walking routes and creative prompts that can be shared with patients, staff and visitors across our hospitals providing some respite from busy hospital environments and encouraging creative exploration.
One attendee of the Creative Walking Group shared:
“I found the creative walking experience very inspiring and enjoyable. I have learned to use my senses in a different way, and appreciate nature even more. I enjoyed exploring creative routes through photography, writing, poems and other mediums”
This is a new project, and we welcome new joiners. For more information, please contact Eve: eve.annesley@imperialcharity.org.uk
