The Family Creative Health Hub is a project for displaced families living near St Mary’s Hospital delivered in partnership with Connecting Care For Children in Hospitals and Grand Union Medical Centre.
During the school holidays, the team organize creative activities for families alongside health information workshops and cooking sessions.
Activities to date have included puppet-making workshops exploring the role of different NHS services facilitated by Puppet Soup, and football sessions led by Chelsea Football Club.
These sessions give families the opportunity to connect with local health services in a relaxed environment, fostering mutual familiarity and understanding, as well as encouraging families to get creative and have fun.
