Explore, Discover and Create, exercise book
We commission artist Rhian Sutcliffe to make an activity book which includes creative exercises for patients on our hospital wards. Along with stationary, colouring pencils and a lavender pouch the packs aim to stimulate, allow creative expression and reduce boredom during hospital stay.
We continue to work with hospital teams to distribute the packs to patients.

Creative connections
Arts Engagement Producer Lauren, provides weekly creative support to autistic patients and patients with learning disabilities through a referral process from the Trust’s Learning Disability and Autism team.
Through these engagements a creative toolkit, Creative connections was developed to help support people with sensory and communication needs when in hospital. The toolkit aims to provide activities which help to relax, process and communicate.
Fidget toys, fabric, metallic stickers and tapes, colouring pencils and a booklet highlighting creative organisations for people with different learning needs are also included in the pack.

Art Collection booklet
We manage a museum-accredited collection of over 2,000 works, many of which are on display throughout our hospitals. For those who are unable to leave the hospital wards we created a booklet which includes some of the art works along with background information and stories inspired by the works to enjoy.
