Loans
Works from our collection regularly go on loan to venues across the UK. We also borrow artworks from artists and galleries through our annual exhibition programme, Art in Focus.
If you have a project you would like to discuss, please write to us at arts@imperialcharity.org.uk
Donations
Over the years our art collection has been thoroughly enhanced through the generosity of patients and staff members, as well as our partner artists and galleries, for which we are incredibly grateful.
We welcome the donation of relevant and suitable artworks that complement our collection of contemporary and 20th century British artists. All donation offers are selectively considered by the curatorial team. If you would like to discuss a donation, please write to arts@imperialcharity.org.uk.
In your email, please include both images of the artwork and details including: artist name, title, date, medium and dimensions. Unfortunately we are unable to consider offers with little or no information.
Research & Viewings
All of our exhibitions are in publicly accessible areas, but the vast majority of our permanent collection is on display in clinical areas, wards and waiting rooms which may not be freely accessible.
We have partnered with ArtUK to make our sculpture and painting collections available to view online. You can also visit our collections page to see a selection of our artworks.
If there is a specific artwork you would like to learn about or visit, please write to arts@imperialcharity.org.uk and we will be able to advise you.
If the artwork is not publicly accessible, a member of our team may be able to accompany you. We aim to respond to enquiries of this kind within two weeks.
