Imperial Health Charity welcomes three new Trustees to its Board

Joining the Board are Dr Bob Klaber, Jazz Thind and Kamini Shah, whose combined experience will help guide the charity as we continue supporting extraordinary care across Imperial College Healthcare.

Bob and Jazz join the Board from Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, succeeding Michelle Dixon and Professor Julian Redhead, whose terms as Trustees came to an end in March 2026. Kamini joins as an independent Trustee, bringing extensive leadership experience from the charity and research sectors.

Kamini Shah is Head of Research Funding at Diabetes UK, where she leads strategic investment in research and funding governance. With more than a decade of experience in health research funding, Kamini brings specialist expertise in grant-making, governance, risk and assurance, and equity in research investment.

Dr Bob Klaber is Consultant General Paediatrician and Director of Strategy, Research and Innovation at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. A recognised leader in quality improvement, population health and innovation, Bob brings extensive experience in clinical leadership, healthcare transformation and building cultures of learning and kindness across health systems.

Jazz Thind is Chief Financial Officer at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, with more than 30 years’ experience in NHS finance. Having held senior leadership roles across provider and commissioning organisations, Jazz brings deep expertise in financial stewardship, governance and strategic leadership.
