Renal Holiday Fund: Key Details

 

Support for Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust renal and dialysis patients to take short breaks. 

 

Up to £1,000 (awarded in the form of a voucher) 

 

You can apply at any between August and September 2026. 

Dialysis patients can now submit applications for our Renal Holiday Fund

The Renal Holiday Fund is a new grant scheme from Imperial Health Charity, designed to improve the wellbeing and quality of life of renal patients at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. It provides funding so that patients can take a holiday or travel for leisure in the UK or overseas, recognising that travel can be more complex and costly for people who require dialysis away from base.

Successful applicants will be given a £1,000 voucher with our partner travel agency, Inspire Travel. They will book their holiday through Inspire Travel and will be able to top up their voucher with additional funds if required.

In 2026, applications are open from 17 August to 17 September – we will notify successful applicants by the end of September 2026. If we receive more suitable applications than available vouchers, applications will be entered into a ballot.
