Remember us in your will

Our Free Will Service

In partnership with the National Free Wills Network, we offer a Free Will Service for people over the age of 55. This means you can have a simple will written or updated by a solicitor local to you - and we will cover the cost.

You'll be under no obligation to leave us a gift - the decision is yours and yours alone, and we'll never put you under pressure. However, if you'd like to take this opportunity to help our hospitals, we can provide resources and information to help you make your gift.

This service covers simple wills only. If you need more complex legal advice, you may need to pay additional fees to the solicitor. Your solicitor should talk to you about any additional costs in advance.

Should you wish to remember us in your will, you'll need to share the following information with your solicitor:

Our charity name: Imperial Health Charity
Our registered charity number: 1166084
Our address: Imperial Health Charity, 178-180 Edgware Road, London, W2 2DS

You may also include any particular wishes for your gift, such as supporting a specific hospital or area of medical specialty.

Getting started

Thank you for considering leaving us a gift in your will. For more information about our Free Will Service or to request an information pack, you can email us at or call us on 020 3640 7766.

What happens next?

1. We will pass your details to our partner, The National Free Wills Network, and they will send you a pack detailing local participating solicitors. Once the Network has received your data, they will only use it for the purposes of sending your requested information pack. The pack will include a confidential declaration form that you will need to bring to your appointment.

2. You select a solicitor and contact them directly to make an appointment. Remember to mention the National Free Wills Network.

3. You have your appointment with your chosen solicitor. Your will is written according to your instructions and you complete the confidential declaration form.
