Open to all abilities, Challenge London offers several distances to get involved in including Super Sprint, Sprint, Olympic, and the brand-new Middle distance.

Choose from 4 distance options:

Super Sprint: 400M Swim – 10KM Bike – 2.5KM Run

As the shortest distance at Challenge London, the Super Sprint is perfect for first-time triathletes, beginners or those looking to achieve a PB, with its short, beginner-friendly distances and iconic closed-road route, it’s a must-do for any participant!

Sprint: 750M Swim – 20KM Bike – 5KM Run

As one of the most popular distances, the sprint is perfect for beginners looking to set a challenge or build on their triathlon experience or looking to push for a new PB at a new, or regular event. Experience the swim-bike-run route through the historic London Docklands along closed-roads!

Middle: 1900M Swim – 80KM Bike – 21KM Run

The Middle distance race features a 1.9km swim, 80km bike and finish with a half marathon on the same iconic course already enjoyed by thousands of triathletes over the years. The swim will take place in the sheltered Royal Victoria Dock while the three-lap bike will take athletes from Docklands to Westminster and back, taking in some of London’s most memorable sights along closed-roads, while the multi-lap run will take place within Docklands, perfect for spectator support.

Olympic: 1500M Swim – 40KM Bike – 10KM Run

If you’re looking to step up your distances and take part in one of the most well-known triathlon distances, then the Olympic event is the one for you! The swim will take place in the sheltered Royal Victoria Dock while the bike route will take athletes from Docklands to Westminster and back, taking in some of London’s most memorable sights along closed-roads, while the multi-lap run will take place within Docklands, perfect for spectator support.
