David Mach’s sculpture Elevator was commissioned in 2006 for the Riverside stairwell at Charing Cross Hospital. The site-specific fibreglass sculpture ‘climbs into the stairwell’, as the oversized rock climber reaches for a sky-light window above. This commission was kindly funded by The National Lottery.
The Riverside Wing also features four photographic collages, part of the Visit London (2012) series which was commissioned by the Mayor of London’s office to celebrate the London Olympics.
