We're committed to helping improve patient care at our hospitals and enhancing the health and wellbeing of people living in north west London. Our funding programmes provide a wide range of additional support at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust - from helping patients experiencing financial hardship to enabling ground-breaking innovation projects.

Each of our funding programmes requires NHS staff to follow an application process with set criteria. You can browse our programmes below to find out more about our current funding opportunities.

Funding to support a patient

We award emergency grants to support patients and families facing sudden and unexpected financial hardship as a result of their care at one of our hospitals.

Funding for research

Our Research Fellowships programme provides funding to help you move forward in your academic research career, giving you the time and resources to develop your research skills and undertake your own project.

Funding for innovation

Our Innovate at Imperial programme provides funding for innovative projects that transform patient care at our hospitals, enabling you to think outside the box and explore new ways of working.

Funding from a Special Purpose Fund

Looking for funding that isn't covered by one of our grants programmes? If you have an ambitious, creative idea for a project that will make a real difference, you may be able to access support through one of our special purpose funds.
