Imperial Health Charity is delighted to present an exhibition of art by staff of the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, showcasing the hidden talents within our hospitals.

We invited staff from across the Trust, as well as members of our volunteering programme, to submit work to us for display in a show that will tour Hammersmith, St Mary’s and Charing Cross hospitals through 2025.

This is the third Staff Art Exhibition we have staged, and of the 20 participants we have a broad selection of roles, ranging from nurses, radiographers and psychologists, to surgeons and clinical scientists.

Talking to the participants, we learned what taking time to pursue art and engage creatively meant to them. It can provide a sense of calm and relief from work, and can also be a tool to improve and enhance working life in the hospitals: group art activities, for example, can bring teams together while also lowering feelings of stress.

We are so inspired by our wonderfully creative and talented colleagues, and we hope you might be too. A small selection of artwork from the exhibition is shown here.
