Fundraise for a Special Purpose Fund

Special Purpose Funds contain money that has been donated to us by grateful patients and their loved ones who want to say thank you for the fantastic care they’ve received. These funds could be spent on a particular ward, department or service, or a specific area of research.

You can also help to grow the fund you manage by getting involved in fundraising. There are lots of ways you can help to raise funds, boosting the income that’s available to support your team.

Our fundraising team are here to help and can support you with helpful hints, tips and resources. Here are just a few ways you can get started.

Tell grateful patients about your special purpose fund
How many times have you spoken to a patient or loved one who would like to say thank you for the outstanding care they’ve received? If they’re interested in making a donation, let them know they can make a gift to support the special purpose fund you manage. You can ask them to email [email protected] or call 020 3640 7766 to find out more.

Do your own fundraising
Bolster your fund balance by taking part in one of our fantastic fundraising events or set up a fundraiser of your own. It’s also a good idea to set up a JustGiving page so others can easily donate to your cause.

Introduce us to your contacts
Do you know a business or organisation that would like to support your special purpose fund? Email [email protected] or call 020 3640 7766 so we can get in touch.
