Walk, Jog, or Run the best of Britain! With ‘continuous’ 100 km challenges or a 2 day ‘Daylight’ 100 km option with camping at half way, testing 50 km Half & 25 km Quarter distance options, a couple of engaging off-road marathons, and a few 10K ‘taster’ events – there’s an Ultra Challenge for everyone in 2024!
Easter 50 Ultra Challenge: 6 April 2024
Take on a 50 km Ultra challenge, a historic 25 km or a new 10 km – and make it an active Easter! From Windsor Racecourse base camp, 2000 adventurers will head out on looped routes through the Great Park with fantastic views of the Castle, on to Runnymede, along the Thames Path, and taking in some wonderful countryside.
Isle of Wight Ultra Challenge: 4-5 May 2024
Great challenges need great settings – and few are better than the Island’s stunning coastal path. Up to 2,000 adventurers will take on the Isle of Wight in May 2024 – all out to push themselves further. It’s along the spectacular southern cliffs, past the iconic Needles, and up to historic Cowes at the half way stop. For Full Island challengers it’s on to historic Ventnor, and back to our welcome base camp in Chale after an epic 106km journey.
Jurassic Coast Ultra Challenge: 18-19 May 2024
Take on this incredible challenge, through the spectacular World Heritage coastline. A start in Corfe Castle, the route heads down to Swanage, and along through Lulworth Cove, past Durdle Door, with ups & downs to Weymouth half way. For full 100 km challengers, it’s past Portland Bill, Chesil Beach, and on to West Bay (of TV’s Broadchurch) – before a finish line celebration in the vibrant town of Bridport. Great Three Quarter, Half & Quarter Challenge options also – PLUS a Marathon option.
London 2 Brighton Ultra Challenge: 25-26 May 2024
The ‘original Ultra Challenge’ – and once again over 2,000 adventurers will take on the Capital to Coast route and test their grit & determination over the weekend. Richmond-Upon-Thames is the start, and it’s over the North Downs with wonderful Surrey & Sussex countryside to half way at Turners Hill. The full 100 km route heads over the South Downs before the welcome sight of the Brighton coastline comes in to view.
Lake District Ultra Challenge: 8-9 June 2024
Take on England’s finest countryside at your pace. The Challenge basecamp is in Kendal, and then it’s a 100km anticlockwise loop taking in a couple of tough hills, the Garburn Pass, historic Ambleside, a half way point by Lake Windermere, forests & nature reserves – with some stunning views en-route. This is not one to miss!
Cotswold Way Ultra Challenge: 22-23 June 2024
A spectacular 100 km looped route from our new basecamp in Cirencester – the ‘capital’ of the Cotswolds. It not only has fabulous views, idyllic villages, and rolling hills – it’s easy to access, plenty of parking, and there’s onsite pre-event University style accommodation at basecamp – so it’s better than ever! A testing challenge, with a few tough climbs, stunning views right across to Wales, and rewards with a real sense of achievement.
Peak District Ultra Challenge: 6-7 July 2024
The full 100 km Challenge takes in a varied figure of 8 route through Derbyshire’s finest scenery with wonderful views, and with 50 km, 25 km & 10 mile distance options passing Chatsworth House – there’s a Peaks challenge for all!
North Downs 50 Ultra Challenge: 27 July 2024
Easily accessible from London, the North Downs is an incredible looped 50 km route which takes in some of the best of the Surrey hills, the North Downs Way, and the surrounding countryside. With real variety and some wonderful scenery & fabulous views out to the south, this challenge is perfect for everyone!
South West Coast 50 Ultra Challenge: 03 August 2024
A fantastic ‘South West’ summer challenge for 2024 – taking in the first Minehead section of the famous 630 mile Coastal Path, and with an extensive ‘basecamp’ in the shadows of the impressive Dunster Castle. The 50 km loop then heads over Exmoor with ups & downs and some magnificent views with over 1600 metres of climb. You’ll get full support all the way, and with 25 km options also, plus a family friendly 10K event.
London Summer Walk: 24 August 2024
Perfect for teams, this historic Thames Gateway 25km walk or 10km looped route surrounding Woolwich Barracks is wonderful for all Londoners. Bring your friends, family, collagues or furry friends for a wonderful day out (with a barbeque and bar at the end to celebrate!)
Thames Path Ultra Challenge: 14-15 September 2024
England’s greatest river provides a fantastic backdrop for an unforgettable challenge. Over 3000 adventurers will join the Putney Bridge start, and the full 100km route heads upstream to Henley along the famous Towpath. It’s through Richmond, Hampton Court, Runnymede, and Windsor, with some wonderful scenery to a riverside finish line. With three quarter, half, quarter distance options also available – plus the separate 25km ‘Thames Bridges Trek’ & ‘The Moonlight 10 Walk’ through Central London as part of the weekend ‘festival’ – there’s a Thames Challenge for everyone!
London Halloween Walk: 26 October 2024
A hair-raising hike around some of the City’s scary streets and historic haunts! Gather your bravest guys & ghouls to make up a team – or go it alone if you dare and meet other chilling challengers. Dress to distress, and our creepy dungeon keepers at The Oval Cricket Ground basecamp start & finish will meet, greet & shock! Once you escape there’s ghostly looped routes, with zombie rest stops, and if you manage to get back in one piece there’s a macabre medal, a glass of the Devil’s fizz, some horrific hot food & drink.
