Walk for Wards 2023
Places now available for July 2023!
Registration: Various options (please see below)
Minimum Sponsorship: As much as you can raise!
Virtual Walk for Wards is back for 2023, celebrating 75 years of the NHS! You can show your support for the NHS by walking whenever and wherever you like throughout the month of July - by yourself or with friends, family, pets and colleagues.
The challenge...
We're challenging you to walk 7.5km, 17.5km or 75km in celebration of 75 years of the NHS.
Whether you fancy taking on the distance 10 times over or if you'd prefer to complete a simple half lap, the choice is yours. You can do all your walking in one day or spread it out across the whole month.
You have plans to go away in July? No problem, you can take a long coastal walk or walk in the mountains! It's a little too far for the kids? They can ride their bikes or scoters along side you.
You can choose from the following distance options:
7.5km
17.5km
75km
Your fundraising
The funds you raise by taking part in Walk For Wards will help us improve patient care and provide extra support for hard-working hospital staff at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
You can choose to raise money for a specific ward or department at any of the Trust’s hospitals – Charing Cross, Hammersmith, Queen Charlotte’s & Chelsea, St Mary’s and the Western Eye. If you’re not sure where you’d like your money to go, let us know and we’ll make sure it goes wherever the need is greatest.
