Our statement following the death of Her Majesty The Queen

“Like so many people across the country and around the world, we have been shocked and saddened by the death of Her Majesty The Queen.
"Throughout her reign, she served with grace, dignity and utter dedication and has been a stable and reassuring presence for us all in times of difficulty and distress.
“As patron of Charing Cross Hospital, Her Majesty had a special connection to Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. Several of her grandchildren and great grandchildren were also born at The Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital.
“In this moment of national mourning, we will reflect on Her Majesty’s unwavering commitment to kindness and compassion – values which remain fundamental to outstanding care across our health service.
“On behalf of the staff and volunteers at Imperial Health Charity, we send our heartfelt condolences and best wishes to the Royal Family at this difficult time.”
