New innovation programme launched
Funding is now available to help staff across the Trust develop new and innovative ideas for improving patient care.

We’re encouraging staff to apply for up to £85,000 through its new grants programme, Innovate at Imperial.

The initiative is designed to help teams develop, test and evaluate a project and the funding can be used to explore new approaches to any aspect of patient care.

Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate how their project has the potential to accelerate progress, strengthen hospital processes or improve safety.

Dr Bob Klaber, director of strategy, research and innovation, said: “Innovate at Imperial is a fantastic opportunity for staff to challenge traditional ways of working and pursue their vision for better patient care.

“With Imperial Health Charity’s support, staff can take the time to develop, test and evaluate a project.”

The programme is open to all staff but is best suited to applications from teams rather than individuals. Funding of up to £85,000 is available per project.

Applications are open now and will close on Friday 21 February 2020. For more information about Innovate at Imperial and how to apply, click here.

This is a separate grant opportunity to the Research Fellowship Programme which provides funding to individuals wishing to take their first step towards an academic career.
