Serving up a breakroom boost for our hospital heroes this winter

During December and January, our fantastic volunteers gave their time to help us deliver bonus staff room supplies to our hard-working hospital heroes at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
The breakroom boxes came packed to the brim with tea, coffee, snack bars and sweet treats, offering a timely boost to our incredible NHS colleagues.
Our staff and volunteers rolled up their sleeves to pack the food and drink into boxes and deliver them to hundreds of hospital teams working in wards and departments across the Trust's hospitals in north west London - Charing Cross, Hammersmith, Queen Charlotte's & Chelsea, St Mary's and the Western Eye.
Your generous donations have enabled us to provide these extra treats for healthcare professionals who are working hard to care for patients throughout another challenging winter for the NHS.
In fact, it's just one one of the many things we're doing to support the wellbeing of NHS staff working at our hospitals.
Earlier this year we funded a series of special events and activities to help hospital staff celebrate the 75th anniversary of the NHS.
And we also opened two brand new lounge areas at Charing Cross Hospital and Hammersmith Hospital for staff to enjoy during their regular breaks.
